Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do about condensation?

A little condensation is a sign that the ecosystem is in balance. If a lot of moisture remains visible on the glass for a long time, open the lantern for a day to allow excess moisture to evaporate.

How does a semi-terrarium work?

A semi-terrarium is somewhere between an open and a closed terrarium. Because the glass can be closed, a natural microclimate is created in which moisture circulates. This creates a nearly self-sufficient ecosystem.

How often should I water?

Watering is only necessary occasionally, on average once every three to four months. The soil should be slightly moist, but never wet.
