Care

Yara is a self-sustaining mini-ecosystem that largely takes care of itself. Once set up, it requires almost no maintenance.

Water

Thanks to the closed system, the moisture circulates by itself. Extra watering is not necessary,

Place and light

Place Yara in a spot with bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can cause the temperature inside the glass to rise too high, damaging the plant.

Temperature

A stable room temperature between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius is ideal. Avoid drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations.

Additional care tips

Do not unnecessarily open the glass; this disturbs the balance of the ecosystem.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I water this ecosystem?

No, we have already done this for you. The sealed glass retains the moisture, allowing the system to regulate itself. There is a date on the enclosed card. On this date, you must put the cork on the glass Nora, and then you can start enjoying a mini ecosystem.

Where is the best place to put Yara?

Choose a spot with plenty of indirect light, out of direct sunlight. This will keep the internal temperature stable and the Fittonia healthy.

Is condensation on the glass normal?

Yes, light condensation is normal and part of the natural water cycle in the ecosystem.
