Green plants in a semi-terrarium require little maintenance. As long as light, water, and air are balanced, the case can largely remain closed, and the glass does most of the work for you.

Water

Feel the soil occasionally: if it still feels moist, you don't need to do anything. For green plants in a (partially) closed greenhouse, this is often only necessary after several months - if the soil feels dry, give a small splash of water.

Place and light

Place the cloche in a bright spot, but preferably not in direct sunlight – it can quickly get too hot behind glass, causing leaves to scorch faster than in a regular pot.

Temperature

A stable room temperature between 18 and 24°C is ideal. Avoid places near the heater, as this will dry out the terrarium faster.
